The holidays are here – and with the season comes non-stop movie marathons to keep us in the spirit. Because we celebrate tradition and embrace familiarity, many films become permanent in our annual rotation. With our favorite films, also comes our favorite lines which can be recited at the drop of the hat, no matter what time of year, and are universally recognized.

As we enter the heart of holiday season, we’ll be busy trimming trees, swapping cookies, and battling the mall crowds, but which movies will you find yourself reaching for first to put you in the mood? With so many classic holiday films competing for our precious holiday hours, some movies forever make the cut.
