Planes, Trains, and Roadtrips… Oh My!

Travelling with kids at certain ages has its advantages and disadvantages.  When kids are young enough to be free to travel, that’s when you have to pack the most CRAP for them.  We have traveled to Greece with an 18 month old, we did Disneyland with 1 and 4 year old kids, and we’ve made several roadtrips to see friends in Canada (From Seattle-area).  One thing I’ve learned is that different methods and different ages means different survival tactics are needed.

Since it is the Summer Travel Season, there may be some in our community who have had better luck when it comes to successful traveling with kids of any age.  What has worked for you?  Have you been too afraid of the trouble to even travel with kids?  What do you wish someone told you before taking a trip?
