Backyard Teepee Backyard Projects - Dad Round Table

Teepees are a great, simple backyard projects to give your kids a backyard clubhouse. Breakdown and assembly aren’t quite as easy as a modern nylon tent, but teepees are more fun—and not nearly as stuffy in hot weather. You’ll have to do most of the heavy lifting yourself—a small teepee uses finished logs about ten feet tall, and a bulky canvas skin—but once it’s built, kids will love having a place of their own out in the backyard. Build it around your fire pit, and you’ve got a nice little outdoor lodge that you can use through the winter.
