Help for the Parkland Victims

My heart hurts for the people affected by last week’s tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. It’s been painful to watch children come to grips with the fact that some of their friends, classmates, teachers and coaches will never return to a school they loved because of the actions of a sick, violent individual.

For me, it’s hit even closer to home because I live and work in Broward County and because my wife and kids are part of the school district. We’re all hurting.

There’s a lot that I want to write about the topic — and I plan to in the coming weeks — but for now, please consider donating to help the victims and their families. There is a Gofundme page set up to assist and it’s growing in donations daily. Here’s the link:
